Vancouver Window Collision Project

Get Involved

This Bird Studies Canada Citizen Science project monitors bird-window collisions at Vancouver's commercial high rises and residential buildings. Observations shared by volunteers help us assess collision rates, identify vulnerable species, and improve our understanding of the impacts of window collisions. The results also help scientists and managers make informed decisions about potential mitigation measures to reduce bird mortality due to window collisions. Get involved by monitoring your own home, or sign up to monitor buildings in downtown Vancouver.
