This report focuses on Marsh Monitoring Program data summary and analyses of coastal marshes within the greater Durham Region on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario. Taking a regional approach it compares species abundance, occurrence, richness and diversity of Durham region coastal marshes to non-Durham region MMP-surveyed coastal marshes of Lake Ontario to determine their relative status given their heavy anthropogenic influence of the greater metropolitan Toronto region.
