The Canadian Wildlife Service has published a number of fact sheets on birds and mammals of Canada, along with a few related wildlife-topics such as bird nest boxes. These fact sheets are all available online.
Wildspace, by Environment Canada
This web site provides information gathered over the past 50 years on bird species and their habitat in Canada. The information can be looked up using species name or by a location (Ontario, Canada or Western Hemisphere).

The Lab is a nonprofit membership institution whose mission is to interpret and conserve the earth's biological diversity through research, education, and citizen science focused on birds. The web site contains valuable information on birds, including several fact sheets on cavity-nesting birds and on nest boxes.

This web site provides a great deal of information on birds of North America. Pictures, maps, songs, identification tips, etc., are also included.
