In the short time that I’ve been at Bird Studies Canada, I have learned a lot about birds, their habitats and the important work done by this organization. Previous to my arrival at BSC, I wore many different hats – from computer trainer / installer to administrative assistant. I love working with people and find the people at BSC to be extremely interesting. Being Membership Donations Assistant has been very challenging. Rosie and I are very busy entering all of the data and managing the membership database. I grew up in Waterford, and had a lot of exposure to the Long Point area, camping at the provincial park every summer. I live in Vittoria in an old house, which was the village dressmaker’s shop and school about one hundred years ago! I reside with my husband Jim and two teenagers (yikes!), Michael & Kara not to mention my three cocker spaniels and three cats.
