Diane Griffin
Diane Griffin is the Assistant Deputy Minister of the PEI Department of Fisheries, Aquaculture & Environment.  Her previous employment was as the Executive Director of the Island Nature Trust and as Natural Areas Coordinator in the Alberta Department of Forestry, Lands & Wildlife.  She is past president of the Canadian Nature Federation, and has served on the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy, and the Canadian Environmental Advisory Council, the Canadian national committee for the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme.  As well, she has served on many boards including the Natural History Society of PEI, the Canadian Wildlife Federation, the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists, the Atlantic Society of Fish and Wildlife Biologists, and Wildlife Habitat Canada. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty. Diane is Chair of BSC's Board of Directors.
