Ted Barney
M.Sc. Candidate

 

Ted received his B.Sc. from the University of Guelph during winter 2004.  Prior to that time, he volunteered with LPWWRF as a research assistant on the Tundra Swan and scaup projects.  Ted also has spent several summers on Akimiski Island, Nunavut, assisting with various research projects dealing with Canada Geese and Lesser Snow Geese. He recently  assisted CWS biologists with breeding waterfowl surveys and summer banding in Manitoba.  Ted will be starting course work at the University of Western Ontario during fall 2004.  His M.Sc. research will aim to determine the quality and availability of agricultural foods to waterfowl during the fall, winter, and spring in the Long Point area.
